Very good cuisine and service

After a successful end of our pilgrimage, we wanted to have a good time at Cesare. But it turned out quite differently. It is okay that we had to wait a long time for our order (30 minutes) and for our food (more than an hour), and later for the bill (over 30 minutes). The fact that the "boss" approaches her guests arrogantly, impudently and just as harshly at every encounter, also destroys the efforts of the other waiters. A characteristic of the visit was the question of whether there was a pizza with buffalo mozzarella. You: Yes. Us: How much would it cost? You: I don't know. I have to ask in the kitchen. Of course, the boss didn't come by to inform us. We only received the answer when we received the invoice: € 14.50. We noted that this was quite expensive compared to the Margherita for € 6.50. When we left the restaurant, she called after us to go to McDonalds if we want to eat cheaply. The quality of the food was mediocre. The pasta was good to very good, but the portion was quite small; the pizzas were all without exception dust dry with a hard edge and one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten in a restaurant. Unfortunately I can only advise against the visit!

I have seldom been served so unfriendly. Waiting an hour for a pizza is borderline. And to make the pizza 3 euros more expensive because of an extra request and then to react completely unprofessionally to factual criticism - unbelievable.

I visited my girlfriend and she suggested trying out this Italian who would know about gluten-free food. It was a very good suggestion, the staff were friendly, and there was a wide selection of pasta over pizza, even gnocchi would have been there. The bottom of the pizza tastes like Schär, but was very tasty topped. Compared to other Italians maybe 4 stars, but definitely five stars from me for the effort of gluten-free eating with even a gluten-free boat

Very very delicious food, also for pick up. Price / performance ratio fits in my opinion very well. Very friendly service, what more could you want.

Delicious food! Prices for the portion sizes are a bit higher in my opinion, but can also be due to the current situation (as of 23.6.20) All of the staff were extremely friendly. Ambience is comfortably informal. We chose this restaurant because you can also eat gluten-free here. (Just talk to the waiter) The highlight, however, was the free tiramisu that one of my friends was served as a (gluten-free) dessert at the boss's expense. When I was there, depending on the situation, they had a reduced map. However, we were also able to get a dish that was not on the menu. (Just ask) All in all a clear recommendation, we will eat there again!

In the garden of the Cesare you can eat well and comfortably. The pasta al dente, the pizza hearty and the staff very friendly. If you want to spend an evening in Italian hospitality, you are in good hands here. Recommended: desserts. Whether Tiramisu or the chocolate cake with an espresso ... a feast for the palate

Very good, high quality food in beautiful surroundings. Nice service. A bit higher in price, but justified by the quality. Delicious pasta dishes and visually very served. Always my pleasure.

My favorite Italian in Altötting. Was not there for a few years, but has changed little. The food is still good and the service very hard. Overall, a solid performance, but honestly not a highlight. Still like to come back.

Local very clean and comfortable. Food was delicious and adequate. Price was completely ok. Service friendly and courteous. We are happy to come back.

Food absolutely great, upscale prices, but they are ok. But unfortunately every time takes too long until the food comes. We had lunch for two days and always waited an hour in the evening, although not much was going on. We'll come back anyway.

Plus:great food and good presentation and they know how to make an affacato! Minus : went alone as I'm here for business and wasn't welcome to sit in the garden, tables enough but had to sit inside as only guest! Probably this is why I wasn't attention so it was a very long wait between courses! Almost felt unwelcome and unwanted!
